Nybro has developed approximately fifty of their own products and many others ranging from medical to industrial markets. in 2003, nybro was recognised by ausindustry and the australian taxation office as a research and development (r&d) company. Further achievements include, certification as a medical aid supplier to many government agencies and hospitals, winner of the 2004 family business of the year (first generation) award. Today nybro is involved in designing and developing our own products. These include medical and mobility equipment, industrial and agricultural products and much more.

The nybro barriatric mobiliser walker is a walking frame designed for the specific needs of bariatric patients ranging from 175kg to 400kg patient weight. It has an impressive safe work capacity. the device is intended for use with the assistance of occupational therapists or medical personnel for rehabilitation of bariatric patients that may require physical therapy. the height and importantly the width of elbow supporting armrests are adjustable to suit the ergonomic requirements of the patient. The device is made from materials of high strength and has surface finishes that are easy to clean. the device is foldable for compact storage when not in use. the vinyl arm rest covers are removable to allow for cleaning or replacement. The device is fitted with heavy duty swivel casters and two rear casters are fitted with breaks. The fasteners on the device are specially machined and fitted to be unobtrusive, removing the risk of injury to the patient.

Nybro australian made breathers are made with a combination of high quality materials including high tensile strength 5083 aluminium plate, aisi 316l stainless steel tie rods and protective mesh, borosilicate glass tube and uv resistant polyvinylchloride (uvpvc) baffles. An oil bath fitted to the breather prevents the gel being directly exposed to theatmosphere and saturating prematurely. The innovative baffle system ensures the even saturation of gel, and prevents any oil from contaminating the gel. All of the components are manufactured to a rigorous 41 point quality control checklist, ensuring that every breather supplied is of the highest standard. The high standard of construction increases corrosion, resistance and provides a long service life.

The Nybro Hoist is designed and made here in Australia and can lift up to 160kg. The total cost of ownership over the life of an asset is a top level consideration for the Nybro Hoist and is the reason our product has been designed so it can be reconfigured to most vehicles. It will also lift most scooters and wheelchairs. What this means is; if you purchase a different vehicle, you will not have to purchase a new hoist. The Nybro Hoist is so adjustable it can be reconfigured to hundreds of combinations to do the job. It also makes resale a lot better if it is no longer required. The main arms are laser-cut from 350 grade steel which has an increased strength over regular mild steel. The Main pivot is made from medium tensile hollow bar and the complete unit has a specially sealed powder coated finish. Al the bolts used are high Tensile grade 8.8. The motor and Gearbox are Industrial Export grade and the electrical are mostly put together in our own factory. All this means reliability. The Nybro Hoists features; Vernier hole position on the main pivot points. A locking gas strut for positioning the boom arm (option). Electrical actuator for the boom arm (option).
