Cockles

We offer Cockles. Wild cockles are collected from sand spits and gravelly seafloor in shallow bays around Tasmania. The bivalve shells are a cream colour, with heavy ridges and reach about 70 mm maximum size. The flesh is cream in colour and has a smooth, firm texture with a distinctive, subtle flavour.

Periwinkles

We offer Periwinkles. Tasmanian Periwinkles (or Warreners) are found at depths to 7 m in southern Tasmanian waters, particularly around Bruny Island. The attractive green shell is smooth and round, attractively patterned in black and green.

We offer Baby Clams. Baby Clams are hand picked from natural beds on the sandy ocean floor at depths to 10 m around the coast of Tasmania. The cream-coloured shell has obvious growth rings. The clams grow to a maximum size of 50 mm.
